Please, bare with me, I obviously did not have film from yesterday. However, being a member of a number of Auburn sites, I was fortunate enough to see the film from the various sites.
A couple of quick tidbits:
WHO THE HELL IS GUNNA TACKLE STANTON TRUITT????????? Dude is just shredded!!!! No offense to TIGER on this site, but he makes TIGER look like freakin Raggedy Ann!!!
The JUCO QB will get the ball somewhere: Quickest 1st step I saw of all the players on tape yesterday!! His arm strength definitely passed the test, but if he don't play QB, he gunna kinda be like Marcus Davis. Kid has skills!!!
LAMBERT---I ain't know all the numbers but I am guessing Lambert is the kid walking around in the knee brace and not participating. All I gotta say is GOOD BY DEFENSIVE END, HELLO DT. That dude needs to work a little on his bench press because he won't play another snap at Defensive end.
SEC WEST BODIES---That's what we're looking for on these videos and I'm glad to announce that we've got plenty. Again, we'll see come September if we got the talent, but we do have the Bodies. Coach Russell continues to kick ass.
GUNNA HAVE TO WAIT A DAY OR TWO ON THE SECONDARY---Just did not get enough quality video to make any first day judgements. Holsey to corner was interesting. Thought he would play safety, but I think he likes corner. Don't know about any of the other kids. Did read that an early enrollee freshman was getting snaps back there. Time will tell if that's good or bad news. All in all, can't take a ton out of the first day of practice.
QUICK TYLER QUEEN NOTE: Kid looks solid on video from practice. Arm strength was not an issue yesterday. Ain't got a clue what the future is for any of these players, but he had no problem fitting in with the QB's yesterday.
