In case you haven’t heard, the MSM wants you to know it’s hot right now. It’s even hot in Europe! Did you know it could get hot in other countries during the summer?
Here is my take on climate change and our government, which I’m sure a few here will pick apart and laugh at to no end: The Earth’s climate is and always has been changing and shifting. It’s been doing it for billions of years, far preceding the time that humans became industrialized and started pumping those dastardly coal and oil fumes into the air.
Do I think we’ve had an effect? Sure. I just don’t think it’s to the level the politicians and media want us to believe. I don’t have a problem with companies and our government trying to do what they can to limit pollution and carbon emissions. I do have a problem with the fear mongering and politicization of an inexact science.
The other issue I have is according to various reports the US is already one of the best, if not the best, in terms of what we’ve done to make things cleaner. So instead of constantly berating us about it why aren’t these politicians out there blasting countries like China and India, who have much larger populations and who are pumping so much sh** into the air that people in their major cities hardly know what blue sky looks like and were wearing masks way before they became a fashion piece in 2020? Seems pretty stupid that what we and Europe have done to mitigate the issue is being cancelled out and then some by other countries and you don’t hear a peep about it. We’re the ones being constantly treated like villains.
