I’ve got an old rental where the old cellulose insulation has degraded to almost nothing. I’ve got about 900 square foot attic space to fill. There is only enough room for me to crawl on my stomach basically above the joists.
I’m thinking blowing fiberglass insulation is the easiest option. If I buy the bags from Lowe’s they loan me the machine for a money back deposit.
Is it as easy as it sounds? Just wear protective clothing, mask and goggles and go to town? Just never done it before.
Or is this just going to be a shot job and I need someone who’s done it before?
