Because of the potential size of the group, I have to sign a contract so I'm going to tag everyone here who has either said they are in or has given indication that they may be in. I would love to have a decent idea prior to Thursday.
In speaking with the manager, we will have a limited menu (like any banquet) so that they can do the prep work early and get us served in a decent amount of time.

Just met with the store manager and here is the way this will work.
I have to give them a number by tomorrow morning. Including me there were 39 names on the possible list. I believe at this point I have confirmation from 13. I think I'm going with 25 expected with a minimum of 17. That means if we have 13, my wife and I will be eating Landry's to go Thursday night because we are paying for 17 lunches.
If more than 25 show up, he assures me that's no issue at all.
Ok.
Lunch is all inclusive, starter (salad) entree', dessert & drink (non alcoholic). Alcohol is available but that's not included. Price per person is $24. There's a small room fee and that's on me (it's very small).
Of the options, this is what I've chosen. I went safe to try and please the most people as possible.
Starter - I chose salad over clam chowder or Fried Zucchini. Wasn't sure everyone would like clams or if everyone would eat something fried so I thought the salad was safe.
Entree - you have a choice of:
Fried fish & shrimp
Chicken Romano (wasn't sure everyone would eat fish)
Fresh Catch (tilapia) Pontchartrain
Dessert - I chose bananas foster over fresh fruit or cinnamon bread pudding.
Drinks - coffee, tea or soft drinks.
So there it is. $24 for lunch is a little pricey for a lot of us and I'm sorry about that. Large groups aren't easy to accommodate.
Please continue to let me know if you will be able to make it.
