Pappoe brought several family members with him today because he wanted them to see “why I love this place so much.” His next objective during the visit was “to get some recruiting in.”

Pappoe did just that.

Pappoe worked hard on Andrew Booth, Keiondre Jones and Colby Wooden, and said after the visit that he “feels good” about each of them.

“I want them to come be a part of something different,” Pappoe said. “We are building something special here. We are going to have a top-five class and I want them to be a part of it.”

Pappoe also “feels good” about Trezman Marshall, who Pappoe said has visited Auburn now twice in the past month (including today). Marshall told Pappoe that he wants to play college ball together. If so, it will be at Auburn. Pappoe does not plan to visit Georgia at anytime with Marshall.

“Probably not,” Pappoe said.

Of the four (Booth, Jones, Wooden, Marshall), Pappoe believes Booth is the closest to making a commitment.

Pappoe will be back in Auburn many times throughout the summer. He plans to return next month when Jones takes an official visit.

Does any school have a chance at changing Pappoe’s mind, flipping his commitment?

“No, no,” Pappoe said. “I’m 100 percent.”

Keep an eye on Auburn with Haselwood. The five-star brought to Big Cat around 10 family members.

"I brought my mom, some cousins, siblings and mentor," Haselwood said. "I wanted to bring them because they are family and that’s what Big Cat is about. It was fun. I was glad to be here. Everybody got treated like family."

When asked if Auburn is giving him something to think about, he replied, "Yes, they are."

When asked if he was comfortable comment on how solid he is to Georgia, he replied, "No."

Owen Pappoe, Bo Nix and George Pickens all are recruiting him to Auburn.

"Bo and George are on me the hardest," Haselwood said. "We already play together in 7-on-7 and it’s fun. It’s fun playing with those guys.”

Haselwood now has visited Auburn three times and plans to return at least once more.

“I’m taking an official here, but I haven’t scheduled it, yet,” he said.

You fit into the culture at Auburn?
"I feel like I fit into the culture here really well. Coach Horton has made me a priority. Every time that I talk to him, he just tells me I’m one of the top backs on their board and that he can see me coming in early and making an impact."

What does Carnell Williams, your RB coach at IMG, say about Auburn?
"He’s told me the goods and bags about Auburn. He wants me to go here, but he doesn’t pressure me. He just tells me that it’s a great running backs coach. He and Ronnie Brown went 2 and 5. He’s always just telling me that if I come to Auburn, he’ll support me. He tells me a lot of good things about the school."

Could you visualize yourself at Auburn?
"Most definitely. I wanted to get back on this visit today to see if I could see myself here. A first visit is always good, but on the second visit, you’re coming back more and more and you can really see the campus."

What does Auburn RB coach Tim Horton like about you?
"He likes my size and my potential. My work ethic is really good. He knows that about me; he knows I want to be the best. He feels like Auburn can help me meet my goals in college. Nine 1,000-yard rushers, that’s rare. Especially in the SEC, really the best conference in football defense-wise. Auburn is one of the few teams that can beat Alabama. That’s big factor. Bama — everybody knows they’re top dog. In order to take them down, they’ve got to have dogs on the other side of the ball and Auburn is one of the top schools to do that."

Auburn runs the ball a lot...
"I like it a lot. Auburn is one of the best schools for running back — regardless of the flashiness. I don’t care about flash or clout. It’s all about system fit for me. Auburn isn’t the flashiest school but they’re about business. I’m about the same thing."

Wooden and Andrew Booth, who are teammates at Archer, were in Auburn on Saturday. Both are top targets; Booth at cornerback and Wooden at the buck position. Could Auburn land both? It’s certainly possible. The two talk about playing together in college.

Wooden doesn’t list a leader between Auburn and Clemson, but his relationships with the Auburn coaches and his familiarity on campus is big. He has visited several times and brought with him this weekend his parents and younger brother. They all stayed the night. Wooden said he plans to announce his commitment in August. I think Auburn is the team to beat. So does Owen Pappoe.

NOTE: I have not seen Booth leave and hope to get an interview when he does.

Auburn recently offered Edwards and has since “made a big move.” Edwards wants to play running back in college and that’s where Auburn wants him to play.

“They are trying to get me because they don’t have any big backs anymore,” Edwards said. “They want me to step up to the plate.”

Edwards enjoyed the visit today and plans to return in the fall for an official visit. He said Auburn is in his “top three,” but declined to name the other schools.

Edwards has visited Georgia, Ole Miss, UCF and USF. He has an official visit scheduled to Oregon and wants to visit Texas A&M. He’s leaving Auburn tonight and traveling to Tuscaloosa for a visit on Sunday. Alabama likes him at linebacker. So does Ole Miss. That’s not favorable to Edwards.

“I don’t like linebacker, to be honest,” Edwards said.

This could be a guy to keep an eye on should Auburn get to him on its safety board. He is teammates with Tye Edwards and received an Auburn offer last week. He’s a damn good player from what folks say.

Auburn is recruiting Logan as a safety. He spent a lot of time Saturday with Greg Brown and area recruiter Kodi Burns and plans to return in the fall for an official visit, most likely the same weekend as Edwards (whenever that will be). Logan lists Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama, UCF and Alabama as his top five.

Auburn offered the Tennessee DT commitment and could be a serious threat to the Vols.

“I’m committed to Tennessee, but my recruitment is still open,” Cox said. “I’m exploring my other options and am open to anything.”

That includes Auburn. Especially Auburn.

“It feels like home,” Cox said. “It’s close to home. I enjoy the coaching staff and have good relationships with them. I love it.”

Cox plans to return to Auburn either later this month or in July. This one will be worth watching. The Tigers appear to be in great shape to flip his commitment.

Auburn made a “big impression” on the No. 3 weakside defensive end. It was Bogle’s first visit to Auburn, but not the last. He said he plans to return for “a couple of more visits,” including an official visit.

Bogle doesn’t have a top group, but is in communication more with Miami, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Ohio State and Oregon. He plans to take an official visit to Oregon after the season. Miami, the local team, could be tough to beat, but Auburn definitely made a move this weekend.

Saturday was Harris’ second visit to Auburn and said he “really liked it.” Harris is from Baton Rouge, but said distance is not a factor. It’s more about his relationships with the coaches, which is good for Auburn. Kodi Burns is Harris’ area recruiter and Travis Williams his position coach (Auburn is recruiting him as a LB). Harris said he will be back in the fall for an official visit.

Auburn made a big impression on McIntosh today moving into his top group along with Miami, Oklahoma and Alabama. McIntosh said he’ll “definitely” be back to Auburn for an official visit, most likely in the fall for a game weekend.

McIntosh is very high on Larry Porter (area recruiter) and running backs coach Tim Horton. He wants to win a Heisman and likes that Auburn is home to two three of them. McIntosh visited Alabama Saturday and will visit Georgia on Sunday.

King Mwikuta is committed to Alabama. He was in Auburn today, yes, but only to have fun and hang out with teammates.

"There's nothing to this," Mwikuta said of his Auburn visit. "I just came here to hang out with my coach and teammates (AU commits Kobe Hudson and Andy Boykin). I told (Auburn) that I am 110-percent committed to Alabama, but there isn’t any hard feelings or bad blood with (Auburn)."
