-same ole shit every week/every year working with idiots and led by people you don’t respect
-the leadership of the company doesn’t respect you and know your not gonna do shit about it other than show up for another week and do what your told
-minimal resources to help you do your job or motivate you to do a better job….any resources allocated go to stupid projects that have nothing to do with growing the business
-friends/peers in the community have better jobs and are happy (Alabama or Georgia fans) so your wife and kids think you’re a boob
-you’ve invested so much time(years) that if you did leave you’d feel it was all for nothing and a waste of time or you’re embarrassed that you quit on something you spent your best years of your life for
-you hear whispers about opportunities such as a raise/promotion/change of responsibility that will spark that passion again but know the company is bullshitting you in order for you to cling on to that hope
-options are meh at best and you don’t want to start over and have to learn something new cause you’re lazy, tired and comfortable with being just an avg asshole with a job
-occasionally you get excited that a good bonus is coming at the end of the year but that $50k bonus turned into a $2k bonus because they donkey fvcked the forecasted supply chain and all your sales numbers went to shit
(From 6-2 to playing in the Bham bowl)
-even though your business is run like an antiquated 1950s hardware atorethat still hand counts inventory, you are expected to compete with the big boy companies and mgmt doesn’t have the capacity to understand that “service over price” is joke these days
-office space 2.0, welcome to hell
Sorry I’m bored and needed to kill an hr before church
