BB: Defending aggressively without fouling is a big difference

in this team, and last years team, IMHO.

Last year we played really good, aggressive defense, but it seemed like opponents were always in a bonus free throw situation. That slowed the game down and allowed teams to catch their breath. Our 10 man rotation last year would eventually wear the opponent down and our offense would take control. This year, it seems that the 9 man rotation is wearing teams down quicker because we are not slowing the game down, and allowing teams to catch their breath at the free throw line. We're just now fouling anywhere near as much.

Denver Jones in particular, and this whole team in general, really get after it on Defense, but seem to be playing a lot smarter. Even CBM is playing defense a lot smarter than last year, and has toned down some of that wild emotion.

I don't know if the stats support me on this, but that's how I've seen it this year.
