Another summer and another year of having to fix something on my gas powered mower. This time it is the pull-cord assembly - not just the cord, but the recoil spring and everything.
Went online to find the part and couldn't find a replacement, then took it to a few parts places and they can't find it either. I'm about fed up with this shit. Seems like every year it is something.
Thinking about saying screw it and going battery powered. fwiw, I use a push-mower (self-propelled) with a bag. It's all I need as my yard is fairly small but it is on a hill and the self-propelled makes a huge difference.
Wanted the Bunks thoughts on today's options of battery lawnmowers. Are they up to snuff? Enough torque, charge time, cutting power, price point? Just might be on my Father's day wish list.
