Auburn baseball and head coach Butch Thompson will open practice for the 2017 season Friday at 2 pm at Plainsman Park.
The Tigers will practice at two and then scrimmage at approximately 4:30 pm. Auburn will also scrimmage at 1:30 pmon both Saturday and Sunday. All practices and scrimmages are open to the public.
Thompson begins his second season at the helm of the Auburn program on Friday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. against George Washington.
Friday’s pitching matchup will feature junior Keegan Thompson and sophomore Casey Mize. Senior Gabe Klobosits and freshman Davis Daniel will face off on Saturday. Sunday’s starters will be junior Andrew Mitchell and freshman Ryan Watson.
