How bad can they possibly be? or perhaps the better question is... how bad does Gus think they are? Gus allowed his allegiance to Stidham to destroy his own career. Unfortunately, in doing so... he has at least temporarily damaged the Auburn Football Program.

Sadly, Stidham has shown absolutely no improvement from week one and in fact most can agree he has regressed weekly this season (he was awesome in JHS vs. TN). Yet Gus remained stubborn and kept expecting a different result with the same QB and same plays. With the exception of a few rare lucky throws (against TX A&M more so great catches), Stidham has played poorly and exuded a complete absence of confidence. I don't care to hear the "oh but the o-line is weak" bullshite.

Just last evening, Stidham killed three offensive drives with the Boobee overthrow with open green grass awaiting him and then missed an open Slayton on third down. On one of our final drives last evening, Stan White was frustrated and mentioned that Stidham for some reason had failed to see Ryan Davis open on routes across the middle on 2nd and then 3rd down both which would have resulted in at least first downs. We clearly witnessed Boobee make a more accurate pass for a TD last evening.

Thankfully Stidham will likely move on following this season; however, due to Leath's/AU attorneys' great contract blunder, Auburn finds ourselves in need of $32.1 million to rid Auburn of Gus.
