Anyone watching the Olympic sprint events might be interested to know that Noah Lyles’s coach is a proud Auburn alumnus. Lance Brauman ran track at Auburn in the early 90s and is one of the premier sprint coaches in the world.
In addition to Lyles, Lance coaches Gina Lukenkemper (Germany), Jareem Richards (Trinidad), Wade van Niekirk (South Africa), Junelle Bromfield (Jamaica), and Udodi Onwuzurike (Nigeria).

Auburn graduate Lance Brauman has been training Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay since 2001 and hopes his star pupil can win a gold medal this week.
