Finally at the mid way point of a wild and busy June, the Football Complex has seen a ton of 2022, 2023 and 2024 recruits pass through its doors and plenty more will be coming over the next half of the month. Unfortunately while visits have been productive, they’ve yet to produce a commitment. Though that might be concerning to some, it shouldn’t be as commitments across the recruiting landscape are down due prospects taking as many in person visits as they possibly can before the dead period begins again on July 1st. While I don’t see a commitment coming this month, a litany of prospects will start to make their commitment decisions in July and August. On that note, below is a list of Auburn targets that are planning announce decisions in those months:
Artis is a top target for Nick Eason and someone the staff has put a lot of time and energy into. While he has visits left to Florida State and Virginia, I see this as a Penn State vs Auburn battle.
My Prediction: To close call
One of the top TE prospects on the board, MRD is fresh of a official visit last week to Auburn. This Nebraska product is highly coveted by several schools, but I think it comes down to Auburn vs Iowa.

Kobi Albert is one of the top athletes in the state of Alabama and a prospect that is coming in for an official visit this weekend. Being recruited to Auburn as a Safety by Derek Mason, Albert has stated on a couple of occasions that he’d like to commit sometime in August. Right now this feels like an Auburn vs Kentucky battle.
My Prediction: Auburn
Allen is a long and athletic CB that Zac Etheridge has made a big push for since coming on board as CB coach last January. This is a 3 team race between Georgia Tech, Auburn and UNC

A recent camp standout, Brown has a top group of Auburn, Ole Miss, Pittsburg.
My Prediction: Auburn
A big athletic DT, Baudoin has a current top 4 of Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M and UGA and seems primed for August announcement.

A recent offer, Bobo is one of the fastest rising OL prospects in the entire southeast and currently has a top 5 of Auburn, UGA, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Virginia. Bobo plans to announce a decision in July and I presently like the Tigers chances.

Another athletic safety prospect on Derek Masons board, Lewis is currently in Auburn on an official visit. Lewis is a prospect I really like but I’m just not sure where he is on the board right now. If we push I really like our chances, if we don’t I think Lewis lands at Arkansas.

Jay Fair is a big time playmaker, and someone in my opinion whose much better than his current ranking. While I feel most of the targets on this list are ranked about right, this is one I think the Rivals Recruiting analysts are way off on. Fair who’s scheduled to be in Auburn this weekend on an official, has a current top 3 of Auburn, Florida, and TCU.

McPherson is currently the top ranked kicker in the country by Kohls Kicking Academy and is a highly coveted specialist by several SEC programs. McPherson currently has a top 4 of Auburn, Florida, UGA, and Texas A&M.
