I am blown away by the changes Auburn made to the seating charts in the stadium for this upcoming year. I knew there was a glut of scholarship donors that needed seats but the area they just blocked off for scholarship donors is huge. The email from TUF says they are 2,000 scholarship seats short right now.

Even more important they are saying that anyone who sees one of those seats open during the reseating process (starting April 1) can buy that seat for $3,000. In the past no one could move into those areas because they had to already have enough TUF eligibility to get there. Now if it is open you can buy it. Maybe even worse if you have been a TUF donor for all those years you are not allowed to upgrade into one of those seats without paying the $3,000.
Think about it. We have folks that have been buying seats for 30 years that can no longer move seats at the same contribution level they have been in for years without paying $3,000.
Take this to the next level. You can't pass down your TUF seats to your heirs so as those folks pass away their seats are no longer going to be blue, orange or gold zone. They will just become scholarship.
You can however pass down your scholarship seats to your heirs so once you lock those in if you can afford the money your family can have those seats for forever. Or maybe better said until Auburn changes the rules to says you cant.
No we know why they are changing the North End zone for sure.
