made a lot of you underestimate how hard it is to actually make the NBA. The NBA is going to take elite size, athleticism, and potential all day over guys with lots of college accolades. Joel Berry III is projected to be drafted at the very end of round 2 right now and he's probably the most accomplished PG in the nation. That means the NBA sees him maybe sticking on a team as a backup PG.
Name one player on our team that has an elite combination of size and athleticism????
Harper and Brown are too small. Good college players. Will probably sniff the NBA when they graduate or play overseas.
Heron has an NBA body, but not elite quickness, and is an inconsistent shooter. He will probably make it on an NBA team at some point, but I think his chances of getting drafted this year are low.
Okeke is an NBA prospect, but too raw to get drafted this year as a 1 and done. Still needs to hit the gym.
The rest of team is not even in the discussion.
Wiley may get drafted in the 2nd round based on pure potential but he's the only one IMO.
So to those of you on here worrying about 4-5 guys going pro....it's just not happening. The bigger and more important question is whether or not we keep Pearl.
