Hey fellow bunks. I live in a community called Redland in Wetumpka, AL. In July a man went home and made his 4 daughters lay on the ground and shot each of them, found his wife and shot her. 3 of the daughters lived and ran to a neighbors house while their "dad" drenched the house in gasoline and set it on fire killing himself, his wife and one of the daughters that was one of the triplet sisters. These young ladies now live with their Grandparents (mother's parents) that moved down from New York. They all shopped in my store before the tragedy and they still do now,(I made them all free Icee for life cards) These 3 girls are AMAZING and a group of people from their school and community are raising money to send these people to Universal Studios and Disney World for Christmas. Sitting at home for Christmas would probably suck given the situation. So we had someone donate AU Wash tickets that we are auctioning off on the radio. Doug and Charlie are taking bids for 2 lower level seats, section 125 seats 6 &7. Right now they are at $300. If any of you bunkerites would like to bid on these you can text your name and bid amount to 334-313-1170. I will try my best to keep you updated as to the changes. Doug will also let each bidder know when they have been outbid. Bids should be in $100 increments and the bidding ends Thursday at noon.
Also, if anyone would like to donate ANY amount to help this family out we are setting up a Go Fund Me account to make this trip happen. When I get the link I will post it.
The Bunker has always been a very generous group of individuals and I have never asked for anything, not even likes. This is huge for these girls and I believe the bunker will help make it happen.
