I am sure I will miss some of the achievements of this team, but with a with or without a win on Saturday they have cemented themselves as one of Auburn's all time greatest men's basketball teams considering W/L record in history in regular season play. They did so with probably less talent and less expectations than most teams other than our Final Four group. Here you go:
I can't thank of a more deserving team and I hope they realize their imprint on Auburn University and the basketball program. It has been a joy to watch them fight and grow and play as a united team. We did not have that last year. Yes, a roller coaster at times, but when all is said and done this bunch will be one of our best TEAMS. War Damn!
- In terms of winning percentage overall they are 10th all time considering all Auburn teams since 1905-1906.
- If you consider only the time we have been playing in the SEC they rank 7th.
- They rank 13th in terms of conference winning percentage accounting for our time in the Southern Conference and SEC. A win Saturday moves them up to a 3 way tie for 10th.
- If you consider only SEC time this team ranks 10th in W/L %.
- When just considering the regular season W/L and taking out the overall records with SECT and NCCAT games included, this version of Auburn Tigers Men's Basketball will rank 5th.
