When and where hasn't Malzahn's offense worked? No, no no...not for a game or two (even Saban defense gave up 44 to Auburn in Ttown last year) but consistently poor. Like half a season poor? On what basis, what serious basis, can you honestly argue Malzahn isn't going to correct this problem.
