I need some advice.

Had a kitten take up in the back yard. It was small and we decided to try and save it so we “caught” it. (Actually she was like, hmmm, I like it here kind of thing after a couple of days.)

First two weeks, kitten was eating and doing great. In the last week, she just doesn’t eat. Our current vet, who is good, feels likes it’s viral, not an instruction, but the kitten is so small it’s not gonna make it if she don’t start eating.

Today she’s eaten just enough that she give me hope, and we’ve done two vet visits with fluids, kitten milk, tuna, the high calorie paste looking stuff. I’m scared the nausea stuff is about to wear off and we might be back into the danger zone.

Long story long, is there any other thing I can try? I REALLY don’t want to put this thing down in Thanksgiving week, and have that convo with my 2 kids, and honestly I’m kind of attached.

Any advise is appreciated. Thank you.
