They posted a job on their website that my wife (rules followed) is interested in applying for, but the posting is for “internal applicants” only. Is that basically a dead giveaway that they’ve already filled the position internally and only made the job posting because it’s a requirement to do so? Or do they give current employees a heads up on applying before allowing outside applicants?
