"Why today's 1/6 hearing was utterly devastating for donald trump"
"another woman steps up to protect democracy from trump"
Fox "News" headlines today:
"Trump, Democrats big winners in Illinois gubernatorial campaign"
"secret service agents willing to testify that trump didn't lunge at steering wheel" (no mention of Hutchinson testimony)
Sean Hannity "the outcome of the january 6 hearings remains predetermined" (it was predetermined in his mind as well)
CNN is going to continue to call the events of january 6th an "insurrection" when they called the violent riots in various places "mostly peaceful protests" . Fox is going to gloss over the fact that trump as the leader of the country is willing to lie to his supporters (and himself) about the election because he is too small of a person to admit defeat.
You could call the events of 1/6 a mostly peaceful protest just as easily as you could call it a riot which is actually what it was. Most of the people that showed up for the rally didn't even go inside the capital. You could call the riots that occurred in Minneapolis, Portland, etc. riots (which they certainly were) instead of "mostly peaceful protests" even though the majority of the people attending weren't committing violent acts.
These "news" organizations are nothing but propaganda machines that will say whatever they have to say in order to get their guys elected. Every story comes with a slant and both sides have saddled up "with" trump due to the visceral reaction that he gets one way or the other. They are both profiting off of him and the truth be damned.
When you hear a lib try to tell you that men can get pregnant or when you hear a 'neck tell you that "trump loves this country" and you roll your eyes, remember that the other guy is rolling his eyes too when you are spewing your companies line. Bottom line, propaganda works! Germany in 1929 was one of the standards of the world in terms of acceptance of other people who were different from each other. You have constant propaganda telling you that the Jews are the reason for all of your problems for 5 or so years and then you are willing to participate in mass extermination of those Jews.
