to go back and revisit a TV series I started and never finished, AMC's "TURN: Washington's Spies." It followed the espionage efforts based in the Long Island hamlet of Setauket, New York during the American Revolution.
It got good reviews and I started watching it and liked it, but failed to carve out a spot for regular viewing during its initial run about a decade back. This is as good a time as any to give it another look-see.
It certainly brought back a lot of childhood memories about the Bicentennial. I remember when Schoolhouse Rock implemented their civics/history components based around the American Revolution and government.
I also recall when the rolling museum they called the Freedom Train came to Birmingham. Anyone else go to see that when it was downtown?
