Long story short, my wife's grandmother stupidly bought a car warranty from someone who called her and she thought it was her car dealership when it was really some third party cold caller. I've been trying to get a refund for almost a year now. They say a refund check has finally been dropped off a the post office sent certified mail and gave me a tracking number but it still shows "information available soon" as the status. Are they still giving me the run around? Anyone ever had to deal with anything like this and were you able to ever actually get a valid check? I'm seriously considering driving to them to get a check in person if the check ins't received soon.
