Too many people here predict with their hearts and emotions instead of what was standing in your faces teabagging you during spring and fall camp. Way too many of you put too much faith in what all these online message board experts and podcast heroes were feeding you.

Meanwhile, @hsvtiger34 and I stood strong, took all the criticism during the off season when you chastised us and discounted us regarding our 5-7 prediction. We never wavered in the face of relentless backlash. We cared enough about this online community to shoot you straight and to keep expectations real, so as to avoid the pain you are experiencing now. But, like many great men in history, we endured your insults and criticism with dignity and class.

Well, NOW IS THE TIME TO PAY THE PIPERS!!! GITT, bend the knee and pay your respects to @hsvtiger34 and me, and offer us our well deserved congratulations!
