in the coming years of EV's hitting the marketplace, shouldn't there be infrastructure being built to accommodate it?

We have had 10 brand new gas stations built in my town in the last 2 years. Why aren't entrepreneurs building fast charging stations along with fast food? People can grab a warm meal and get a 15 minute charge? I live in the Florida panhandle and have seen ZERO charging stations being built along I-10.

Why are investors building gas stations instead of charging stations? Any big city dwellers see differently?
