The Zeroth Law of Football Dynamics states that it all begins in the trenches. We don't have a Greg Robinson. We don't have any offensive linemen that are absolutely dominant at their position. I still think JJ has enough time to throw but he panics early. Our defense should be penetrating and it can't even against a 1-AA team. One player out should never make our defense go completely to shit. If we have the talent on the o-line and it's a matter of they haven't jelled and lack experience then we will have to endure growing pains. Same on defense. The really top teams that recruit well do not have to go hunting in the JC ranks. I think we have to do that too much. We need redshirted linemen stacked up. This whole thing , using root cause analysis, might reveal a systemic problem of a lack of freshmen being developed and too much reliance on JC guys who d o not get the same level of position coaching. I think if you look at the holding calls and the inability to drive block I think it comes down to our fronts.
