1. Played a great game overall. Physically and mentally were the tougher team and that is what I wanted. They can't say they played half ass or flat. We got their best and went toe to toe. On offense we outschemed them on multiple occasions. On defense we were solid but just don't match up with teams that have QBs like that. He is a very good college QB.

2. Loss is a loss. We did make some critical mistakes that gave them the game. To their credit they seized them.

3. Clearly we were outclassed from a talent perspective. Most evident at QB, WR and Edge Rushers. Also, their OLine in Pass Protection far better than ours. We can fix these positions quickly.

4. Atmosphere from TV was off charts. I finally got to watch 4th quarter this morning. AU Family showed out. Read recruits reaction. Top to bottom best environment they have seen a game.

Where do we go:

1. Do not make any staff changes until after bowl game. Not sure how many we need to make actually. Perhaps Monty and WR coach. Defense we have to figure out the Crime and Roberts spat, but defensively we have been ok most of the year despite no depth on interior D Line, Edge and Safety positions and very little quality at LB. Asante trailed off bad at year end.

2. Close strong with a top 10 class. We have it in sight. It would be top 4 or 5 in SEC. That is where we need to be each year to be competitive for SECC.

3. Win the bowl game. Most important in my opinion. Rebuilding a program requires some blocks. Winning the bowl after going 2-7 in the last 9 is a huge building block for this program. Need to focus and send the Seniors out right who stuck with AU under some of the worst times we had.
