Once we figured out we could not allow their QB to roll to his right, we were pretty stout, although it's likely they were more conservative offensively in the 2nd half because their punter was nails, and we weren't doing a thing on offense in the passing game.

That said, only one of their TD came on a long, sustained drive, where the other two were immediately after turnovers. The the interior DL was solid, the LB play was above average, and the defensive backfield, other than our age-old problem of not turning around when the ball is in the air (is this a uniquely Auburn phenomenon? 😂) and some shoddy tackling played fairly well given the gameplan of the opponent.

It was good to see Durkin adjust at half. I didn't look at the numbers, but I'll bet we had less than 20 min possession. The defense had to be gassed.
