I have some sad news to report today to the fambly. Many of you have come to know my brother Hornacious through the years as he was the most respected and insightful poster on here. I’d like to say a few words about him as a tribute before I go into the details of his demise.

From the outside Hornacious certainly came across as a man’s man. He was very proud of his truck and would often brag about its payload capacity as it could haul 5 beach chairs when he overinflated the tires. Oh how proud he was of that truck! The saddest I ever saw him was the time he spilled his cosmopolitan on his seat when he drove over a particularly treacherous speed bump.

He also was quite the outdoorsman. I can still remember the time he harvested two crepe myrtles on his property in a single weekend. He even cut his own grass on a warm April day in 2004 when his lawn care professional was out with a medical issue.

Anywho, Hornacious and I scheduled a camping trip to walker county last weekend. He loved to camp With me because it gave him a chance to get away from the pressures of having to act like a He-Man at all times. We called the time we spent together the “no judgement zone”. He was free to be who he wanted to be and knew I wouldn’t cast dispersions at him.

One of the things he enjoyed the most at the no judgement zone was the opportunity to be the wife so to speak. No pressure to satisfy the other partner before fulfilling his own needs. I’m sure you can tell by my posts but let’s just say that I’m “big”. After the battery in our Coleman fire log set died Saturday and we had the opportunity to lay down in the tent, I was feeling especially engorged as one might after accomplishing an amazing feat such as climbing Mount Everest or winning the Boston marathon. Oh the testosterone that was flowing through my body! Yada, yada, yada his colon was ruptured that night.

In lieu of flowers we are having a raffle for his truck to pay for the funeral expenses. Tickets are $1/ea with a total maximum of 500 to be sold. if you are interested in a good cause please pm me.
