Some of you may know this guy and feel free to chime in...but the platform is pretty interesting and I think this could actually help the sport because parents/trainers can monitor the risk of injury associated with impact/gforces/heat etc. I can tell you that the wussification of little league football by scared moms and spineless dads is affecting youth football even here in the Deep South, this would be an easy way to measure and protect against a number of injuries:

PlayerMD uses the most advanced techniques and technologies to identify potential concussions or when a player is overheating, whether it's in a game or at practice.

Instant text or email alerts will be sent to parents that notify them when their child has received a hit that exceeds their personalized safety thresholds or is in danger of overheating. One size doesn't fit all; PlayerMD will ensure that personalized thresholds are set for each child that is reflective of their individual characteristics and history throughout their athletic career.

By monitoring biometric and collision data for impacts that exceed 10Gs to identify a potential TBI, players will be better protected from concussions that go undiagnosed and untreated.

Parents will be equipped with data to proactively intervene when players are feeling pressure to keep playing after sustaining a potential TBI or overheating related injury.
