I expressed surprise to my buddy who watched the game and texted me the final score.
I replied “Central must be pretty damn good”, and he said he thought they were the 2nd best team they had played this year (better than Hoover and Mountain Brook who they had beaten fairly routinely) and he said “better than both Birmingham schools but not close to Montverde Academy in Florida”, who gave Huntsville its only loss so far and has Cooper Flagg and 4-6 other HS All-Americans on its well recruited and compensated team….
