lets look at the Baylor game

fun fact: auburn only reached 77 possessions in 2 games last year- the game vs memphis in atlanta (mostly from memphis demolishing our souls and running at neckbreak speeds) and the OT loss in the airporthangar by tuscaloosa (it adds the OT possessions)
team is obviously much faster this year and bruce teams in transition are fun
the other thing is cardwells performance. barttorvik is giving him a higher impact on the game than freakin jakobe walter. if he could fix those stupid fouls he'd be crucial for us down the stretch. 35% blockrate is crazy but need to be willing to give up some of that to avoid fouls
defense actually was ok besides the freakin FTR and perimeter defense (gonna struggle at perimeter defense all year. hopefully we can grow in that area)
average lead was auburn by 2
overally tight game
probably not useful but herest he kenpom profile after 1 game
the personnel stats are interesting. bruce was not afraid to play guys in foul trouble last night (thats the 2-foul participation stat)
just lookin at early stats
on PPRG (points abover player replacement stat)---- 6.0+ is like college player of the year status. 5.0+ is like first team SEC status. 3.0+ is the @Docdumpsta GOOD PLAYA status
pretty early on but havin 4 players above 3.0 is good and where we ant to keep it. gotta get some bench role players out of the red... we'll need em
also i thought it was funny they listed lior as a PF/C cause he had no stats over 5 minutes
also johni really needs to get those 2pt shots to fall. we need him to get our efficiency inside the arc up

we're gonna have a stretch here of some easy opponents before VT game late november. have to keep growing on defense before we get to that matchup. theyre a good perimeter team

vandy lost to a 5-27 team from last year... not good for stackhouse

got a good one tonight. can only watch on barstool tv
