Indiana went 1-2 against Texas this past weekend. Looking like a nice win. theyll surpsie some folk. I think USC has a good enough offense to fight in the PAC12 as well. need to cheer for them the rest of the way. The tie just counts as a wash so it wont hurt us at all for tournament seeding or anything later
Predicted RPI Sheet
SEC is off to a rough start, really need to have a good pre conference to make up for their missteps. next couple of weeks are pretty big now.
TAMU has dropped games they shouldnt, Alabama isnt playing anyone, Arkansas getting blown out by Eastern Illinois, Miss St dropping games they shouldnt as well
LSU and Ole Miss are starting off strong but thats about it. Vandy has played very good competition and snatched a couple of wins, theyll be dangerous as always. Still a long ways to go though
BASKETBALL TOURNY STUFF
Odds
Averaging as the first 9 seed across most brackets right now with 87.7% chance to get in (looking like odds of winning one of a game in the tournament + odds to win tennessee game)
Average seeding (1000+ brackets weighted by 5 year accuracy)
Here's all the bubble teams. Gotta Hope they don't pull of any upsets. I like our chances vs Miss St because of the head to head but we need to get some seperation.
Barttorvik Seeding
barttorvik has us a little lower. doesnt like our ELO + resume combination but our power rankings across computers and net are keeping us afloat right now
Teamsheet
the game @ jawja is our only quad 3 loss and the game @ vandy is a quad 2 loss. Only quality quad 1 win = arky at home which was huge looking back on it. @ USC is now quad1 and northwestern neutral is our other big win
Last 2 games
Still got a shot but need Tennessee game (currently about a 2 point underdog) or a couple games from the tourny to pull this one out
Will post the composite baseball rankings here when they get posted (usually everythings out by monday afternoon)
