MATCHUP #1: PENN
not sure whats up with cerwinski, hasnt played past couple of weeks, might be injured but cant find anything. 3 main starters (zaffiro, dromboski, coady) and a closer (ozmer) who makes multiple appearances. most of the bullpen goes out and pitches an inning or two then show up the next game and pitch an inning or two. also coady only had 8 pitches in the tourny and was pulled. not sure whats goin on there. as a whole they have pretty low era and dont walk a lotof batters.. pretty well rounded overall
top of the order in batting lineup is pretty dang good, the rest are ok. only henseler has double digit homers
here is the main problem with penn
theyve really only played 2 good teams. they kept it really close with south carolina back when south carolina was really good though. this wont be a cakewalk, gotta take care of business.
will work on the other 2 teams in the regional later in the week
statsowar should post some pretty cool stuff on twitter for the regional later in the day, will be on the lookout for it
edit: btw added all the newcomers for 2024 that we know of so far. pitching future looks better, gonna have to fill some holes for infield/outfield though. portal will be big for next season
