Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley and former Commander U.S. Central Command Gen. Kenneth McKenzie revealed critical details about the Biden administration's decision-making process behind the withdrawal, including that the president ignored their warnings.

McKenzie agreed, saying he too believes the events of August 2021 were the result of delayed decisions that were the responsibility of the State Department.

'It remains my opinion that if there is culpability in this attack, it lies in policy decisions that created the environment.'

'Culpability and responsibility do not lie with the troops on the ground,' he added.

The conversations between Biden administration officials and the generals on when and how to evacuate were ongoing for months before the August withdrawal.

Milley said that if he could make the decision again, he would have begun the evacuation over a month before the withdrawal was ordered.

--- Biden issued the order to evacuate on AUG 14. The military was ordered to be out of Afghanistan by AUG 31.

'I would've brought the embassy and the State Department out with the military by the middle of July,' he said. 'If there was a do-over, that would be it.'

-- Milley was asked about Joe's pledge to "stay until every American was out" was false, saying there was never a policy to remain after AUG 31.

Milley even admitted he did not know how many Americans were in Afghanistan at the time of the withdrawal.

'I'll be candid; I don't know the exact number of Americans that were left behind because the starting number was never clear.'

He also testified that he believed the rapid withdrawal would lead to a civil war.

'My personal analysis was that an accelerated withdrawal would likely lead to the general collapse of the Afghan security forces and the Afghan government, resulting in a large-scale civil war reminiscent of the 1990s or a complete Taliban takeover,' Milley said.

Donald Trump on Monday said he wants to debate President Joe Biden “immediately” — but the Democratic incumbent quickly brushed off that idea.

“I’d like to call for, immediately, debates,” Trump said on “The Dan Bongino Show.”

Biden participated in an interview for the Super Bowl in 2021 and 2022, continuing a tradition followed by other presidents. But he skipped doing that interview last year, and passed on doing it this year.

“I’d like to debate him now because we should debate,” said the former president, who is the front-runner for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination. “We should debate for the good of the country.”

Biden dismissed the idea.

“Well, if I were him, I’d want to debate me too,” Biden told reporters at a boba shop in Las Vegas when asked about Trump’s challenge. “He’s got nothing else to do,” Biden added.

I'm learning a lot about my family and even finding close (2nd and >2nd cousin) relatives that I never knew of. Even recently had a chick reach out to me as a possible niece.... our DNA was a very close match and she said her father was adopted so.... I could have a 1/2 brother I never knew of.

We're hearing a good amount of PORTAL CHATTER this afternoon.
